No Evil

"No Evil" (2025) is a reinterpretation of an older original piece, that draws from the well-known legend of the Three Wise Monkeys to propose a reflection on morality and complacency. The proverb, "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" is reinterpreted here from an ambiguous perspective: to what extent does the act of ignoring evil become, itself, a form of complicity?

The central figure embodies the three actions in a single body, replacing the traditional monkeys with symbolic layers of one identity. The hands that surround her—demonic in appearance and disconnected from the body—suggest both imposition and choice, maintaining the tension between purity and denial.
