About me

I’m Bruna Marinelli, a brazilian visual artist, and Brugi Studio is the space where I develop my personal work and illustration projects.

My work is introspective, poetic, and surrealist. Each piece begins with a concept — sometimes a personal experience, a piece of text, or a song — that I deconstruct and reshape until it finds its most symbolic and emotional form. The process is almost sensorial: I think in colors, textures, and the physical sensations that the idea evokes.

Although I mainly work with digital painting and ink, I let each piece decide how it want to take form, striving for expressive results.
What drives me is the human experience — our relationship with others, with the world, and with ourselves. Each image is an invitation to introspection and personal interpretation: I want people to find some piece of themselves in my work.
In both personal and commissioned projects, my purpose remains the same — to translate the invisible in a poetic and meaningful way.
